Who doesn't love a good burger? In fact, who doesn't love a great burger? Finding a great burger, one you crave, one you are already planning to come back to before you've even left the parking lot is a challenge these days. Oh', you can find a  burger on just about every menu at any restaurant you visit. With nearly 50 Billion burgers consumed in the US according to yahoo.com, it would be wise to have one on the menu. The majority of all burgers sold in the US belong to fast food chains. That leaves a few far and between of classic drive-ins left. Of those not fast food or classic drive-ins, what percentage of restaurants have a burger on their menu as an afterthought?

The search for a great burger continues, but don't get us wrong, there are some great craft burgers out there, if that is what you are looking for. Most of them are a larger 1/3 lb or 1/2 lb patty grilled on an open flame, placed on a bun with all different kinds of ingredients and sauces. We are in search of these craft burgers, in addition to the drive-in classics. We've had some really good burgers, every one is different, and what may be important to those establishments about their burger greatly differ. To one, it may be the blend of meat, the grind, percentage of fat. To another, the special sauce, chopped onions instead of sliced, green leaf lettuce compared to iceberg. All valid and all differentiating. Is there such a thing as the perfect burger? We don't think there is one perfect burger, but we all know a great burger when we experience one. When you find that burger you love, or even crave, you are loyal to that burger. When folks talk about burgers, that is the place you mention.

At Shadowline, we are passionate about burgers, have been for decades, spent years in the test kitchen treating every ingredient as if it were the most important element on the burger. We hand crafted our onion rings and we make them fresh daily. We hand cut and double fry our fries and keep things simple, use fresh ingredients, hand make 95% of our sauces, dips & dressings. Our recipes scratch made whenever possible. Our menu will feature drive-in classics from every region of the US along with great craft burgers we call our elevated burgers. Each month we will feature new classics and elevated burgers for you to try. Our menu will also have delicious lunch and dinner alternatives to burgers. We will also feature classic Coca-Cola products in glass bottles for that nostalgic feel and great taste.

Shadowline Burgers & Brews takes great pride in the food we serve, we hope you will come by for a visit and try one of our burgers. Will it be one of those great burgers? Only you will know the answer to that question and of course we sure hope so. As for Brews, we are passionate about those too! We chose the name brews, as a brew is a liquid concoction of liquid and ingredients. Milkshakes, malts, cocktails and of course great NW local beers which we are passionate about and will be rotating often to bring you a variety of experiences from the great breweries in the pacific northwest.
